The Board Academy

The Board Academy would be a dynamic program that trains current and future community members on how to become effective leaders of a nonprofit Board of Directors. Local non-profit experts will provide training on board roles and responsibilities, monitor financial status, learn how to engage as a Board member and how to support organizational fundraising.
Participants will graduate from the series with an understanding of how a nonprofit organization operates effectively and will be confident in the knowledge and skills to become active, productive Board members who engage with competence and confidence. Local presenters will teach using interactive and engaging lectures, case studies and group exercises.
The training will be held at the Community Foundation office at 3919 West Newberry Road, Suite 3.. Additional details will be emailed a week in advance of the training. Please email office@cfncf.org with any additional questions.
